With less and less couples choosing to do a first look, a true cocktail hour is becoming more necessary to keep the guests entertained during the brief pause in excitement before the couple reappears for the reception.
At The Weinberg at Wixon Valley, we have an outdoor space perfect for your cocktail hour. Outside on the covered patio is a bar fully equipped for serving your guests. To the left of the bar is a turf grass area that can be used however you please. Some couples use the turf area for yard games such as giant Jenga, corn hole, or washers. Others have brought in lounge furniture, photo booths, and cigar rollers, all to keep guests at bay while they take sunset photos in the vineyard. The covered patio is also a perfect space to include outdoor seating or bring in cocktail tables and additional lounge furniture.
The cafe lights in the area come on once the sun goes down and those tied in with the fire pits creates a perfect outdoorsy atmosphere later in the night for guests who may want to step away from the crowd and enjoy the grounds.
